Great country pub with good service. Plenty of space for the kids to run around while you enjoy a beer or two. Its a bit ou of the way is the only little gripe, but worth the stop if you are driving past.

Great place to stop for a leisurely bite to eat and a wine or beer, at the gateway to Hawkes Bay’s wine region. Good atmosphere, indoor and outdoor dining, great host and the fittest dog in New Zealand!
Had lunch there yesterday, best fish and chips I have ever had and friendly people running it. We will definitely be back soon.

Just dropped in for a coffee, unsure if they did takeaway coffee but no problem. Enjoyed a coffee on my travels home to Palmy.
