Beautiful, crystal clear waters. There is no beach at the lookout but if you walk on another 10 minutes or so the track comes down near the waterline and a small side track takes you to a tiny sandy beach. You can hire boats here, but you have to hire them from the visitor centre and get a key to unlock them before you start the walk to the lake.

Beautiful lake. You can hire row boats from the visitors centre (camp shop on weekends) for 20 and can row around the boat and see alot more of the little islands in the lake
Such a beautiful place to escape to for a while from the distractions of life. We went up to Sandy Bay Hut which is 4 hours hiking one way. Though you can hike for an hour and take a boat from the dock up to the hut. Such a peaceful place. Would definitely recommend!!
Awesome little lake for a brilliant family/friends getaway. Would definitely recommend getting the boats, you'll have a lot more fun with fishing, rowing and checking out the lake on the island on the lake on the island. If you're up to it make a rad smoker on the beach and enjoy a gourmet smoked trout munch, 11/10 recommend. Even in winter you'll have an awesome time!
Stunning Lake. So many Hikes. I want to come back and hike around the whole lake.
