Fabulous meal delivered for our lockdown dinner date. Thank you SO much, delicious lamb shanks followed by Apple pie Bloody good mate!!
I'm a knitter, and most frequently, a sock knitter, so I found this little shop / museum fascinating. I came away with some lovely sock-weight wool (yarn), and a yearning to own one of the machines. The old advertisements were of the 'make money at home' kind, likely very tempting in the 20's and 30's. Would love to visit again.
Orders came in promptly- always happy with my purchase!!!!
An interesting place to visit. Kids loved watching the video of how the socks were made using machines.
This must be the dullest place in hokitika.....I dont think that many socks are made here and there is not much of a museum apart from some old machines.
Not really a museum. No information. You can buy socks. Does that make it a world?
Loads of socks, boring video, total lack of interaction from staff. Waste of time
