Like reviewers Wayne (6mths ago) and Tracey (11mths ago) I also wish I'd read HomePlus Waikato reviews before proceeding with them, for our shower renovation. We experienced extremely poor communication, excessive delays and very poor installation practice. I too have horror photos of the completed job. Never again. Rebecca Williams; Jacqui Williams. As with others i wish i had read the reviews before agreeing to have them create a shower return, shower door and and install as part of our bathroom renovations. I was at home during the installation and therefore available for questions. Initial install showed the return height and top spar height did not match and were considerably out, as well as the sealant finish was lumpy and poor. At the time the installer suggested putting more sealant on the top to align the levels, which i declined. Requested they remedy this and unfortunately the second attempt at install only remedied the height issue of the return and top spar. The sealant finish remains poor to the point I will need to remove and re-seal myself and noticed this morning the sealant extends on to the plaster to the right side of the shower so needs cleaned before further prep. (why it would be there is beyond me) and also noted the bottom of the door seal where it meets the shower tray leaks, just as well it will be replaced I guess. Discussed with the owner of the business who refunded the install cost however once the invoice was paid that was the last i heard. Very disappointing experience.

Unfortunately my wife and I should have read the reviewers from others before we got involved with this company. If your happy to wait six months for your products to be installed I would highly recommend them, if you also like next to know communication again I would highly recommended them. There products are of good quality, What let’s them down is robust internal systems with in management. I had to personally visit there office after 20 plus weeks of half the job done to get someone to answer some simple questions. We wish them all the best for there future but we are a first and last time customer. I’m sure there competitors in the same industry must love them.

HomePlus Waikato manufactured and installed 2 sliding security doors and a whole house lot of magnetic flyscreen windows. The Clearguard style of security door is the perfect mix combination of solid security screen but also unobtrusive and easy on the eye. The magnetic flyscreens are great through summer and beyond. Thanks for the great work team.

HOMEPLUS has a really impressive product. They're well made, have friendly staff and will make a free quote within a few days. Unfortunately they let themselves down as their prices are through the roof; they're just not being competitive with other security screen door companies in the area. I went to another company only two blocks away; it saved me literally hundreds of dollars and I'm thrilled with finished product. HOMEPLUS is a great company with an outstanding product, but let down by huge prices.
