As a non-profit in New Zealand, HOST International is pro-actively setting up partnerships with non-profit, business and government organisations to ensure innovative and creative solutions to resettlement are underway. HOST International can work with communities in New Zealand on a number of fronts. We help communities recognise the benefits of welcoming refugees, including the skills, experience and cultural contributions that people from refugee backgrounds bring with them. We also assist former refugees and their communities to implement their own appropriate solutions to problems and break down barriers to integration and self-reliance.
