Very busy at Easter. Only one open so good on them. Nice modern premises. Fresh tasty food, good cabinet selection, food and coffee came together which is a bonus. Don't use rough timber table tops. Uneven tops are not good to put glasses of water on or cups or bottles. Recommend changing table tops. Otherwise super place, quick service nice people.

Wow what a find in Alex. Our usual stop was shut so followed the Google ratings and were not disappointed. Cabinet stacked with yummy food and great coffee. You have to try the banana loaf
If you're ever in Alex and need to stop make sure you pop in here! The service was great, really lovely staff. It's a beautiful space with indoor and outdoor seating options and clean tidy bathrooms. The food was incredible and they had a HUGE selection of cabinet foods. Really hope I can go again and try what's on the menu. Definitely had food envy seeing what they were bringing out. A
WOW! The food in the cabinet looked very yummy. We ordered off the menu and our food came reasonably fast considering how busy they were. Also had 3 coffees which was an added bonus. A lovely young girl with glasses came and cleared our table and brought out some cold drinks, very chatty and seemed relaxed even with the que of people. Would highly recommend! There is no shortage of delicious looking food
Stopped here on our way through to Queenstown. Lots of parks outside and looks like a big shed from the outside. Really nice on the inside everything looked clean and new. Food looked really good that was on display and the meal I had was really good would defiantly come back here again to eat. The coffee from here was pretty good as well. Defiantly a place to stop if in Alex if you are by yourself or with a group.
Literally on the Otago Rail Trail this cafe offers loads of indoor and outdoor seating and has a large car park. Good food and coffee.
You know you're in Southland when you see these flashed up delights. Great Cafe, good service, 4 stars cos coffee machine broke down
Lovely food, the salmon stack is YUM. Great atmosphere, bright airy space with lots of lovely indoor plants, makes it a relaxing place to eat. A favourite.
