The InZone Education Foundation is a New Zealand registered charitable trust that aims to inspire and support Māori and Pasifika youth to take their place in the cultural, economic and civic leadership of Aotearoa New Zealand. We do this by providing kāinga (hostels) which are “InZone” for high performing schools and we partner with the schools (Auckland Grammar School and Epsom Girls Grammar) to ensure students achieve top educational outcomes. Our kāinga enable our students to live and learn in a supportive whānau environment with a Māori and Christian kaupapa. In this environment, we aim to support, inspire and empower our rangatahi to achieve to their full potential. InZone aims to deliver to our students: • Improved educational outcomes Our rangatahi have access to top performing schools (AGGS, EGGS) which, when combined with the additional academic support and encouragement provided in the kāinga, inspires and supports our rangatahi to achieve their academic potential • A cultural incubator Our kāinga enable our rangatahi to live and learn in a supportive whānau environment with a Māori and Christian kaupapa and a strong values framework. This instils in our rangatahi pride in themselves and fosters the strength of character needed for leadership • Transition support At InZone, we prepare our rangatahi for life post-school and support their transition from school through tertiary studies or employment into productive and fulfilling careers.
