The entrees are quite good but the Tom yum and the green curry are too salty. Not recommended.

Stopped by on the way home from Ruapehu. There was only one person on the floor and it was quite busy so we had to wait for him to get off the phone before getting seated. We got the menus and had quite a bit of time to go through it since he was quite busy with phone orders and other tables. After ordering the food didn't take too long to come out. The prawn toast and satay chicken was quite nice. We had the Beef penang curry and it was good but it was a bit on the salty side for me. We also had the special duck which was alright. The Rard na chicken wasn't to my liking. Chicken was a bit dry and the gravy didn't have the right flavour for me. Overall it was a nice and filling dinner. Would have gotten dessert but was quite full and had to get back on the road.

Good to have an Asian restaurant Jasmine Thai Restaurant here in Otorohanga. Very friendly staff and good Thai menu. Have the Thai fried rice with chicken here tonight on the way back to Auckland.

I chose this restaurant based on the review on Google and it didn't disappoint. Great professional & fast service. Delicious and flavorful food. I ordered the shrimp or prawn pad thai dish, pictured below. I met a stranger here eating alone so I asked to join her for dinner for a great conversation; she also liked her chicken green curry. The restaurant is well decorated and the unisex restroom/toilet is clean. I'd return to dine here and recommend it.
