The fish and chips here are great! They have some of the nicest chips in Kaiapoi. They are very well priced also. Ohoka Road Fish Supply have recently become mine and my partners new favorite fish and chip shop. Last night I tried the bacon burger which was absolutely delicious! The staff are all super friendly even though they are always very busy. There can be a bit of a wait here as you can expect with any great fish n chip shop but its definitely worth it to try the great food.

Wow just had orange roughy, meat patties hotdog n chips with family and everything was superb! Fish crispy and still juicy, real meat pattie impressed the husband and chips and hot dogs a hit with the boys. Not great, light crisp batter, golden fluffy chips! Thanks! We will be back!

Disappointing. Blue cod (9) was burnt to a crisp and the chips and spring roll was almost cremated! 3 of us got sick the next day...coincidence? Don't think so. Disgusting

Everything is always over cooked. I always ask to under cook my orders so it comes out normal (IF they follow through with request). Sausages are so over done the skin comes off n your left with a crusty dry sausage. Fish is never fresh including the Blue cod and I cant even tell the difference between them except in price. Battered mushrooms are so old the mushroom is shrivelled up and rubbery. Reccomend the potato fritters and spring rolls though. Shop always looks clean and owner is friendly.

Always gone here for fish and chips since I was a kid, and it never lets me down. Everything here is a great price, I particularly like the burgers, which are a decent size and far cheaper than most other places I've been to, while holding the same quality and taste. The staff are always friendly and the food is ready in a good time frame. I have since moved about 20 minutes from here, but I continue to make the trip in because I enjoy the food so much!
