Fantastic lodge looking right over Lake Karapiro, perfect for family getaways, wedding parties, sporting groups and small corporate groups. The service was outstanding, Jo and Jon are fabulous hosts and the decor within the lodge itself was superb. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!

Really love it
We booked the lodge for extended family over a long weekend around a wedding. It was perfect. Comfortable beds. Amazing views. Great kItchen facilities and enormous breakfasts. and our hostess, Jo charming. Highly recommended.
Lake view lodge is a family owned lodge run by the Leigh family. The property is breathtaking and the views are wonderful. They property is on a working calf raising farm. You’ll be greeted by a bunch of white hydrangeas on the check in desk. If you’re luck to meet the family golden retriever- she’s a gem!
