Loved it here. It's a central location to see lots of the North. Quiet location, amazing star views, bonus of wild Kiwi living here too. We saw Kiwi twice on our three night stay.

What a peaceful gem hidden away in a beautiful area and managed by lovely people! We stayed 2 days longer than planned as it had all we needed for a very reasonable price! Well worth the stay

Had a lovely 1 night stay here, friendly staff, clean and plenty of facilities. Went out kiwi searching at night and saw one! Also heard them calling to each other. Was so happy! Would definately recommend.

Hands down our favourite campsite on the North Island. Very well maintained and the nature walk is short but really neat. For the price I feel as though we got a bargain when compared to other places we have stayed at. Would stay again I a heartbeat.

Sleep amongst wild kiwi! We weren't fortunate enough to see one but you could hear their calls. A great spot to stay.

Made a last minute booking because I hoped to see the kiwi living on the island. The staff were knowledgeable about the recent locations of their resident kiwi pair and I was able to see them! (Basically everyone staying did too!) But even if I hadn't come for the kiwi, the facilities were excellent and clean, and the campground was peaceful and beautiful. I would definitely recommend.
