A stunning theatre, was my first visit there

Saw Live Rust there on Saturday. Theatre was great but the sound was almost unbearably bad. Staff were great and allowed us to change seats from the circle down to the floor which was a small improvement but it was still awful. I saw the same band last year at the Civic theatre and the sound quality was exceptional. Maybe the theatre or perhaps the sound guys were not up to it.

Nothing good or bad, it's just big n new. I used to go to the Regent Theatre in Palmy and St James Theatre in Welly so Aotea Centre has no characteristic to me. But nothing wrong with this new place.

Saw Icehouse and The Narcs here this month. Even sitting right at the back the viewing if the stage was good and acoustics for both bands were great. Comfortable and in my view a great venue.

Outstanding theatre with great sightlines and acoustics. Great service and support - people with mobility problems should just let any member of staff know and they'll look after you. You'll only ever be here for expensive gigs, but it'll be quality.

Incredible theater, outstanding acoustic. Enjoyed the Live show of Snow Patrol

Well maintained theatre with excellent facilities and acoustics. Let down by tiny seats with no leg room. At 6'4" I couldn't sit down in the first seat I tried and the second wasn't much better with my knees having to fit into the gaps between the seats in front. The seat back barely came up to my ribs. I won't return unless it is for a very important event.

Joe Lycett was fantastic.
