We had an amazing experience in Lake Tekapo thanks to the wonderful team Christina and our private tour guide Chris on Sunday 27/12/20. We asked Christina if we could start our tour at 5pm (until 9pm) on Sunday late afternoon and she positively helped us. When our tour started, Chris was incredibly knowledgable, helpful, fun & simply very pleasing to be with. Chris took us to a private access location which revealed jaw dropping sceneries that we won't be able to experience otherwise. As I couldn't stop talking photos, our tour took one hour longer than scheduled/paid for but Chris never made us feel rushed or being less than 100% positive. This is one of a kind experience that you don't want to miss out when you are in Tekapo area. It is most highly recommended. Thanks Chris & Christina!

Tekapo Adventures - High Country 4WD Tour: Brilliant day out! Our family really enjoyed Tekapo Adventures a week ago - private tour up the Cass Valley. Superb mountain scenery, great photo opportunities and our guide Ben was a fountain of local, geological and eco knowledge - friendly and helpful to boot. An opportunity (voluntary) to stretch your legs on a short climb, a cup of coffee and our favorite muffin all included. So a big thanks to the team at Tekapo Adventures - you really made our holiday, and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

An unbelievable experience. Brilliant service from the get go from booking direct to being picked up and dropped off. Ben was really personable, knowledgeable and lots of fun. We had many laughs along the way. Topped off with magnificent scenery and a bit of a history lesson, this tour has made me appreciate this part of the Country more than ever. Ben gave us a great 4WD trip up the Cass Valley through a working sheep station to one of the musterer's huts, where we sampled the fresh, cool water running straight off the mountain. Ben was really knowledgeable about the area and we even managed to see the critically endangered black stilt. He gave us plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would recommend this to anyone wanting a taste of the backcountry around Tekapo.

Wow. Every now and again you get a perfect adventure. Cristina the guide and her knowledge of things "out the back of Tekapo". the fun ride in a 4wd. Friendly and well oiled pickup, food & stops. Just bloody marvelous scenery. I mean outstanding NZ back country. And last but by no means last Larry the pet merino sheep who eats apples out of ya hand. Just a superb half day out from start to finish. Everything these guys do is worth signing up for. Bloody brilliant.

We had an amazing afternoon on the Cass Valley, Back country tour with a wonderful tour host. As a NZ couple who had never been to the Tekapo/MacKenzie Country area before, we were both overwhelmed with how beautiful and special this part of NZ is. We learnt so much about the history of the Southern Alps formation, and the glacier landscape, and then also to experience a real NZ high country farming station was something very special for us, as both are rural North Island people. Our host and tour guide made us feel very special, giving us the perfect afternoon. The scenery was breathtaking, and so appreciated the chance to tour through Glenmore Station, viewing first hand the sheep, cattle and bird life. We would throughly recommend this tour. We will definately be returning to do further trips with Tekapo Adventures. This was the highlight of our 2 week trip to the South Island. Thanks

We booked this trip at the suggestion of a travel agent and we are so glad we did it Ben was the most awesome tourg guide Taking us through private property we would never have got to ourselves The scenery is amazing, If you're visiting Tekapo, put this on your to do list, you won't regret it
