The location is absolutely amazing, it's quiet and you've got some really nice views over the mountains around you. Plenty of tables outside. Had the raspberry cheesecake and it was delicious. Just a shame they don't have the Wi-Fi (would have been 5 stars). And I found one of the waitress pretty rude. But can't be perfect. Would definitely recommend it after walking up the big clock.

Visited this Bistro during the summer with a couple of pals and it was worth it! We indulged in tasty food and delicious wine. The view outside is beautiful and the sunshine was even better. Very scenic! I liked the bridge part, I thought it was different and I enjoyed it. Its definitely worth a visit and I hope to come back when I get the chance to come and visit Alexandra again. It was fantastic.

This restaurant has all the potential, but none of the awareness to take advantage of the opportunity. We went early on a Friday afternoon for a bottle of wine in the sunshine waiting for the 5pm live band to start. The bar menu was to start at 4pm, but really didn't until 5pm, and the live band turned up at 5pm and started at 6pm. There is no table service, not enough tables and certainly not enough staff. Although the wine was delicious, the wait time for food and for it to eventually turn up cold (they haven't even mastered the basic art of reheats) was the last straw. Definitely do not recommend - thank goodness they at least served Ruru wine!

Nice and friendly staff, good tasty food. Been there while it was boiling water notice, arrived a bit earlier before their opening, however they served tea and cabinet food go us, really appreciated. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the first things we did in Alex was walk to the Shaky Bridge and the winery beyond that. My friends and I enjoyed their house white blend. We all were fans. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Awesome place for coffee, lunch, diner. Super ambiance both inside aswell as arround the place, specially with the beautiful old bridge right beside it. The owners are the nicest people! Don't pass Alex without a stop here.

A new incarnation with an Italian influence. Delicious food and wonderful friendly (and efficient) service. The gelato looks great. Will be back on a warmer day to give it a try
