Very good service, had all the products I required. But parking could be improved by stopping people going to another business not taking Animates designated parking spaces.

Went to this store this morning for my dog and the moment I walked in the door I was warmly greeted by Connor who then proceeded to assist me with my enquiry even though they didn't stock it he tried to find a store that would be open to help which was appreciated. Then he kindly helped me find an alternative product. And Christopher on the counter was just as lovely and helpful. Overall fantastic experience today because of these guys highly recommend. Thanks heaps guys have a great day!

Why is it that The Pet Centre in Lower Hutt is so much better than this store? You’d think a large franchise vs a small family owned business would run way more efficiently. You call that a sale, looks like the little guys are showing you how it’s done.

Went in to purchase a Betta fish and tank set up, and received lots of advice and tips from the staff! So we're waiting a week before adopting our fish to make sure it has the best possible transition from store to home. Very grateful for the knowledgeable staff!

Primarily I use their dog wash facility, which is great, if not always clean or working. And they place lots of dog treats on the path to the bath, which is super annoying.

Great range of good quality products, always go in and buy more than I intended. Though some things aren't necessarily cheap, they are excellent quality and well worth the price.
