Happy hour from 4-6pm. We had the small plate sampler which was a generous amount of food for two. They gave us bread instead of ceviche, but we ended up with the bread on the house which was very generous! The fresh baked bread was delicious, I’m glad we got to try it. Everything on the platter was tasty and would happily order again. Staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend. Last table for dining is seated at 6:30pm. So go in time for happy hour

After a magic day out exploring we decided some fish and chips were in order. Hooked On did not let us down. Absolutely amazing. Beautifully cooked and good sized meal. Will return on our next trip.

Fantastic celebration place for locals or just getting together after walking Abel Tasman Track. Happy hour starts at 4 pm till 5 pm and many including us took advantage of the specials on the happy hour drinks list. Food was great and service with a smile. Quick and took time to help with selection of seating on a windy day and to get the sea view. Booked ahead and pleased I did. It was crowded with happy people on a Tuesday in late February.. Parking easy and you can drive one in to Marahau and one way out. Try the deserts. Yum.

Best post walk, burger & chips. A week later and I am still thinking about how great they were! Staff there were helpful, assisted us with coverage issues while trying to arrange out pick up by phone. They even packed out meal for take away last minute as our ride arrived earlier than anticipated.

A great destination cafe. If you are starting or finishing the track or just passing thru. It’s worth a visit. Great food and amazing ever changing view

This was a very nice Cafe and Restaurant to have a meal in, lovely friendly staff. Not a huge bar but more than adequate, good menu, pity it was wet-raining but more than enough room and seating inside, got quite busy but not over the top. Appears to be very tidy and clean and would definitely be a buzzing place when there are more tourists around. On a nice warm summer's or spring evening sitting outside would be great, the beach is just across the road with amazing vistas and views, will be much better tomorrow night I'm sure, we will be back.

I stayed a couple of nights on and off for the Abel Tasman walk. Every time I visited the cafe I was greeted by smiling happy staff who were engaging. The coffee and food was excellent. I would particularly recommend the morning muffins (get in quick) and the calamari. Oh and the chocolate dessert.
