Just a lovely place to walk the dogs, better access to the river would be superb for the dogs...had to do some bundubashing to get to the river but dogs thoroughly enjoyed it!

One of the most beautiful place in palmy ️
My favorite walking spot! So many different paths to take, never gets boring. Love it!!!
I love using this pathway whenever in Palmy. Skate, bike and walk the dog (bring bags, dispensers are rare/empty). The whole path is long but there are benches to rest and lots of access to the water as if you werent in a city. People (and puppies) are very friendly, everyone shares the path. It's not just pleasant, it connects with the car and pedestrian bridges and other destinations really smartly and features the Esplanade in the middle with a nice cafe, gardens and wild bird centre. Really can't say enough about the city maintaining and growing this asset, when I was a child the "bridle paths" were pretty sketchy places. Cant wait for the Ashhurst section.
Lovely views on the way out to Linton. The path can be walked or u can ride your bike. It is an easy ride with only a few small hills.
Fantastic for a family walk or in our case family ride. Dogs included on lead. Path was wide enough and well maintained to ensure no incidents happen. We will definitely be back to bike this again and again over summer
Great easy ride and good coffee too
This is a walkway with much to offer, there are many attractions. you can turn off onto any tracks along the way which will lead to many discoveries. There is the historical rock with a Maori mythology and then there is the flood gauge showing the height of floods over a 100 years. Great for cycling and running with many places along the way to stop and relax.Whatever the season there is always a different postcard photo to be taken.
