As a member of the RSC the Chalet is a base for Whakapapa. James, who is running the place this winter, has thd place warm and welcoming for people arriving from tiring drives. The experience is colleagual as rostered domestic tasks are part of making the place work for everyone. This can bring out the teenager lurking in adults however.
