Lovely family run business. Very casual service as kids learn the ropes (part of its uniqueness). Pizzas are amazing, worth the drive! Love the wines and if you're lucky, there's really good live music!

Wine was good. New staff who did not know the wine, which was odd. Good bread with the wine. Live music was a bonus. The children of the family who owned the winery were ok for me but others were not happy about how boisterous bordering on feral they were.
I haven't been to the winery as I'm in Orewa but just recently tried the pinot gris. I wasn't intending to buy a bottle as being a pensioner felt it was outside my usual price range. And I usually drink bubbly. I'm so glad I bought a bottle - it was delicious!! If I do get a chance to visit the winery I certainly will.

Beautiful outdoor eating area, although it is right beside the noisy highway. Decent white wines, and great food here, especially the pizzas. Service was friendly and informative regarding the wines.
Pizza was lovely. Service was friendly, and attentive. Pleasant environment with sunny, shady, and even bean bag seating options... We got a discount from grabone.

Wine was okay, seating area old and dirty and right beside the highway with noisy trucks going past. Had the pizza which was very disappointing, didn't even finish it even though we were hungry. Would not recommend.
