One of my new favourite DOC sites on the Forgotten Highway (SH43). Toilets need some cleaning and there is no pay cards to make payment. No phone signal.

I have stayed at this place 3 times now and done the forgotten word highway twice this is a marvoulous quiet spot to stay and if around the area I not hesitate to go there again it bout 15 min from tamuranui township

We visited off peak and were the only ones there. But I read and hear that this is a very popular place in season. Very nice campground. For us all we could hear for the three days we were there was the river and the birds.
