After all this walking you're liable to feel tired. No worries, just walk down another path, not through the vast public park, into a suburban street. You'll soon find a bus stop. If the bus is headed further out from Auckland, just cross the street! All the northbound city buses will meander their way back to the Auckland CBD!

I've visited Cornwall Park for over fifty years, riding to the top with friends on our first motor bikes and more recently walking our dogs on lovely Spring and Summer days. Old style English Park with a touch of New Zealand with sheep and native birdlife. Never too crowded and always a pleasure.

What a divine piece of country in the middle of the city!! An absolute haven to take a lovely, long walk with the whole family or picnic under the tangled, moss-laden branches of the ancient trees. The clean country air, rolling fields and hills with the farm animals grazing peacefully gives this setting such a tranquil ambiance. The obelisk crowning One Tree Hill is a much-visited delight for both the history of and stunning 360 views to be enjoyed there. What a beautiful spirit-filled place to be.

Long grass waiting for a fire to burn it off. No grazing animals. Very few visitors these days as you can no longer drive to summit. Also road through to Cornwall Park closed. Area has gone backward in past year or so. Disappointed in current management.

Fantastic place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world without having to go out of town.

Such a beautiful and natural place! On the way up you get to see mountains and hills of greens and sheep and when you get to the top you get to see a monument and the beautiful sky. Great place for pictures. I gave it a 4-star because it is SUPER crowded with tourists everywhere so it is super hard to find a parking spot. I suggest leaving your car at which ever free parking spot you find and walk your way up and down.
