Have had two dealings with Metalco. Both left me quite disappointed. The weights I felt were vastly different to my calculation. Because it is impossible to check weights one has to rely on honesty. Recommend others to get a proper weight via weighbridge if possible before handing over any metal. You have been warned.

Got quote 6.50 over the phone for bright shiny copper and 1.80 for I stripped pvc copper. Turn up with a bulk amount and only got paid 4 for the bright and 1.15 for the unstripped, made me feel like it was my fault they had their prices wrong. Wouldn’t have come to them in the first place if they had have just told me the right prices from the get go grrr
