Mainland Glass were very quick to quote for my double-glazing retrofit and competitive among the ones that I contacted. The team that turned up to do the job were professional and got the job done really well. Unfortunately, the admin side of the company leaves a lot to be desired. Poor communication between the people in the office and the team in the field left me trying to chase up progress etc. The salesman was friendly enough when he was quoting me for the work, after that he didn't want to know. In the end, once I'd paid up the final invoice (which I had to chase up), I didn't even get a "Thank you for your business" note - maybe I'm old fashioned, but often it felt like they were doing ME a favour. It's a shame really, because if it was just down to the guys doing the retrofit, they'd easily get 5 *.

Not at all impressed! Called this company several times over a three week period to have a cat flap installed and each time I was told someone would get back to me about measuring up the window. Have just called another glazing company who are coming out straight away.
