the children sent me flowers for my birthday. they arrived a day late, apparently the courier had a problem. once we got a chance to look at them we realised there weren't that many flowers and they weren't fresh. emailed the plains with photos taken that day but they weren't interested and claimed the flowers were fresh the day i got them, they referred me to quality petals and eventually the children did negotiate a full refund and were able to buy replacement flowers of much better quality and quantity. the new flowers still look lovely. at this stage with the flowers from the plains all the larger flowers and foliage had died and been binned. very disappointing experience for the whole family and much time wasted. the plains still maintained the flowers were fine even tho quality petals gave a full refund and admitted they were not good enough.

Would not recommend. Flowers nothing like the photo and the value of the bunch looks to be half what I paid. Very disappointing.
My sister (based in the UK) ordered a bouquet of flowers to be sent to me but the flowers delivered were anything but fresh; very short of the quantity of stems detailed so clearly in their bouquet details online and had no message attached or florist details (I tracked it back to them via the courier). I tried to discuss this with Nadine at The Plains (by email) but she stopped replying when I had clear evidence that I had not been sent the full bouquet of flowers that had been ordered!!! So it was a very expensive - smaller than it should have been - sad looking bunch which lasted all of about 5 days (despite doing everything usually recommended for flower care!) Would not recommend if that’s the standard of product they offer ... at least they could have admitted their short count and offered some apology!
Very friendly, with fantastic quality service. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful flowers at short notice. Thoroughly recommend this florist.

Website cut off immediately after card details entered whilst placing order. Assumed process failed so attempted to re-order only to find order had been entered. Some attention to the web-site required I believe. We need to know the order has been received and actioned as there is no- one to ask!
