I normally don't go this far from home to shop at a Mitre 10 store but nowhere else had the grease I wanted in stock. They confirmed by phone and offered to hold some for me, so off I went. This place is huge, and full of interesting stuff. It is also staffed by the friendliest people you could want to meet and give money to. I met the guy who promised to hold the grease for me as I was browsing for other things. I saw my neighbour too, who works there, but he was too busy helping people to chat to me! I'll go there again when my local store doesn't have what I want.

Bought a Melamine 2 door cupboard last week with great help from the girl in that department and went back to get extra shelving yesterday. Same girl showed me to the timber department and the sheets of Melamine and arranged for a very helpful guy to actually cut it into 3 exact size shelves so it would fit into my little Honda. Just solved such a problem for me and so pleasantly. Went back later to get shelf supports and the gentleman told me aisle 4 and then took the trouble to follow me down to make sure I was looking in the right place (I wasn't) What a great retail experience, so rare these days.

It is clear that staff get top quality training and are not afraid to put it into practice. Walked through indoor gardening, outdoor gardening and plumbing and each dept delivered 5 star service. Their competitor close by could learn a thing or 2 from them. Well done Mitre 10 Lunn Ave

Really enjoy going to Mitre10 MEGA in Lunn Avenue. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I like the store with spacious outdoor garden, store is always bright and staff in every aisle. Plenty of parking and car trailor on hire. Few good stores around there as well and bars and restaurants. I hope Mitre10 starts allowing dogs in the store.

Always enjoy a visit to Mitre 10 Mega Mt Wellington even if only browsing. There was staff all over the place so you'd never be short of assistance if required. They have a fantastic range of products and am looking forward to seeing the newly upgraded garden centre and Columbus Cafè when completed later this year.

Very professional, lovely and active staff. I shop here regularly and not even a single time i had bad experience. I reached just 5 mins ago before store closes to collect earmuff for my kid. They helped me and provided me quickly rather than making excuses... 5 star
