If not for a Xmas voucher, I wouldn't have shopped at Noel Leeming and I got a rough reminder why. Bought a simple 40 available item online only to find out that it was not only unavailable in-store but also unavailable nationwide. How did I find out? Well... Sent 2 emails, zero response. Went in-store to chase, got given some bogus story about it coming from another store. Was promised a follow-up, never heard back. Had to call in by phone to chase, finally someone troubleshot the issue to give me the honest answer: Out of Stock. No genuine apology, no ownership of process failure, but I do recognise and appreciate the offer of free shipping once the item eventually gets in-stock. Which I am told can be up to 2-4 weeks. As a hotel manager, we take pride in customer service and every experience counts. This... this is how you frighten clientele and ensure they go to the competition next time. Do with this constructive feedback what you will. All the same I will patiently wait for stock and the appreciated shipping.

After waiting more than 20 minutes (trying to restrain a bored 2yo) for someone to help me, I thought my troubles were over when I was finally served and managed to purchase a dishwasher. Despite the fact the dishwasher was already in store, the earliest delivery date was nearly a week later. Fine, 6 days is better than never, but when the delivery date actually came, I still had no contact from Noel Leeming about the delivery time. When I called to ask about it, they said the invoice had been incorrectly processed, and delivery wasn't possible for another 4 days. And no refund (even partial) of the delivery fee was possible, they were just 'very sorry'. I hope it actually arrives!
