We used Be Different Timber Designs to do all the timber work in our new restaurant including our bar tops and floating shelves and they look amazing. Working with them was such a delight and everything was super easy. Our designer originally put down Walnut, however as it was well over budget Simon and Jess went through every option that was with in our budget and guided us towards the very beautiful Tasmanian Blackwood. As this timber comes in various different tones Simon went and personally selected the slabs that would be used to ensure the right tone was selected. There is no doubting that for any future restaurants or even our home Be Different Timber Designs would be one of the first stops in the planing stages.

We got a couple of bathroom vanities from the team at Be Different Timber Design, and we are so happy with the quality and the workmanship. The made them exactly to our design, and we are so happy with the result, they look beautiful, and so many people comment on them when they come to visit. There were a few hold ups, as they had bought the company we had initially been dealing with, but Jess's communication throughout was great, and I would happily recommend

This company are brilliant, I asked them to make us a vanity for our ensuite in Sydney Blue Gum, provided a picture and measurements, they were quick and very efficient, we were very pleased with the result.

Had the most amazing custom designed cabinet made. Can not recommend this company highly enough.
We've had a few things made by these guys. They did our native NZ timber kitchen island bench, which turned out awesome. They also did a fantastic macrocarpa bar for us, which gets heaps of great comments every time someone comes into the bar. They're not afraid to do something different and unique, highly recommended!!
