Great camp ground. We had a site right by the board walk and looking out to the ocean. Lovely clean facilities, friendly staff. Sadly we were only able to stay 1 night but definitely plan to come back and for a longer stay next time.

Great location right on the beach however this was a double edged sword because the main boardwalk to the Mount was right in front of us between the beach and our pitch. Personally I didn't care but others in our group felt a bit exposed. If you like people watching and a great view and access to the Beach then pitchup at the front. There are plenty of other pitches set back from the boardwalk too. Very well run and clean.

Stayed here on the weekend with my family. Our cabin was infested with bugs, not clean at all, carpet was dirty with rubbish under the bed. Also smelt really bad. Not ideal with a 1 year old. Shower floors were also really gross and smelt bad. Customer service was also awful. Only good thing was the location. Very overpriced. Can get an Airbnb or hotel for the same price so we won’t be back. Don’t recommend

Best campsite and facilities we have ever been too! Came down for one love 2021. Very clean and very comfortable place to stay. Definitely be back !

Great bathrooms & kitchen but super annoying to have to take a key fob to the toilet. Amazing location. Receptionist was a bit grumpy on the phone and in person. We asked for a site with a view and had another van completely block our sea view.

An efficiently run campsite with great proximity to the Mount and the beach and good amenities for adults (apart from a lack of recycle bins next to the central amenities). We were disappointed there was no space for children to play other than the campsite roads because every square inch of grass/dirt is set aside for campers, which also leaves you feeling very crammed in, especially on the tent sites. Apart from grass, there is very little planting around the site which means there is little natural shade and the wind blows the dust around and into tents easily (as well as other people's cigarette smoke if you are unlucky - there is no ban on smoking). The hot pools were closed for maintenance 2 days after we arrived even though it was still school holidays around much of NZ. I had to ask twice for litter to be picked up where collects near the TV room, before it got blown into the sea. I'm not sure, without improvements on the above how the site qualifies for a qualmark certification.

Never ever going back but know they won't care cos their location will always attract customers because its perfect. Booked for side by side caravans in June last year as sight impaired and needed family beside me. We could not have been further apart and I was on uneven ground and had steps nearby. Was told "oh well there's nothing we can do" not even a sorry. Light bulb needed replacing and asked for that, didn't happen, ants in my sons caravan. If I could give a minus review I would. Absolutely no customer service at all. Spoke to another camper who said they wouldn't be back either
