It's a great uphill trail close to town, with fantastic view from the top within 40 minutes. I visited here twice during my stay in Murchison, and both had some nice conversation with the people I met.

Surprisingly good walk: steady climb through regenerating bush on good track with view of Murchison from near the top and the Buller Valley and ranges from the top. Great way to stretch the legs and calm the mind.

Easy but quite intense (straight up) track Well maintained Great views from the top, totally worth it! Make sure to check out both view points on either side of the T section

A beautiful uphill hike. Some parts of the forest look like they came straight out of a Lord Of Rings set. Amazing view from the top. A weka bird took to attacking my shoe while we were resting on the bench at the top.

Do not be misled by the photos which shows the swing bridge. This is just a viewpoint hike and the bridge does not exist at this track. Beautiful views at the summit but quite a hike up.

Missleading pictures! There are no bridge and the views arent that spectacular took about 40-45 min to get to the top with some smal stops.
