One of the best regional parks - you can have sea, mountain and birds with stunning views. The playground was super fun for kids while most people coming here for surfing or see the garnet colony. It’s a paradise for bird lovers or photographers. This is a perfect for capturing the West Coast sunset!

Love to walk down the hill to the cave, if low tide, you can walk though the cave. So muh fun for the kids.

Beautiful.. such and amazing place. Sad some people didn't abide by no dog rules due to the nature and setting of the place. Home to these beautiful birds However, didn't let it ruin my exp. Def a go to during home season

Amazing place, west coast has always been big part off my life. The place is well known for the Gannett Colony, has signs to read about the place and also seeing the ruggedness of the sea. Seeing the blow holes with the water flying up out of them. Good parking there, but does full up quickly. Is always busy there in holiday seasons.

Beautiful. Absolutely breathe taking. I much prefer to go to Muriwai Beach instead of Piha because its much easier to get to, not as windy, not so far from civilization and you travel through 2 towns with everything you need (petrol, food, snacks, restaurants etc etc etc).

Really nice beach. Great when it's not windy. Parking can be a bit full. Check out the local surf rental place. Super nice people and full of good advice.

Excellent natural place for cycling, walking and to enjoy nature.

My happy place. I have surfed, fished, run, mountain biked here most of life. It is unlike any other place. Savage, dynamic, unforgiving, beautiful, and brutal. It will give you the best day ever or kill you. Don't ever be complacent, but do enjoy the place
