A wonderful museum, and worth the visit. Lots to see, in a lovely location so can be enjoyed as part of a day of activities for all the family. The Gallipoli exhibition is moving, and informative. Helped feel a connection to our ancestors. Also was very excited to finally see the giant squid . Good for wheelchairs, push chairs and you could loose yourself for a few days.

I absolutely love this museum. Not many museums focuses on the NZ history and fauna & flora. Lots of interaction that would make it very interesting for family with kids. I always leave the building learning something new. What I completely forgot is that it is free. They only rely on Koha (donation).

It was a really great experience for me. The place was really amazing. I visited the place 2 days but i still haven't seen the entire museum. Its definitely one of the place everyone in New Zealand should visit. Such a great experience. I am planning to visit again with my husband soon.

I've been to numerous national museums and Te Papa is one of my favorites, if not the top pick. Educational, entertaining and very informative. Super child friendly with good facilities for parents. A full restaurant downstairs and a small cafe upstairs with some nice rotating exhibits

Great place to lead you to experience the war in a soldier’s view. Really touch and inspire. Highly recommend to visit.

Still the best museum in the country. Had a new exhibition on Gallipoli which was amazing. The lifelike exhibits were absolutely breathtaking and realistic. You could count the hairs on their feet. Absolutely recommended you witness the splendor and realism of this exhibit. Puts the war in perspective. Extremely moving experience.
