Had a blast on this rafting trip. Very beautiful scenery with numerous waterfalls on the way downstream. Definitely go with an experienced crew though as it is a very strong current.
The Mohaka Rafting team are amazing at what they do! The staff trip my team did on the Grade 3 part of the river was unforgettable. We had some people in the group who were super nervous and not too confident and the Mohaka Rafting team did well to reassure them, make them laugh and looked after everyone's safety with vigilance.
We spent a fabulous day on the river with Mohaka Rafting. From start to finish, the experience was both great fun and highly professional. Gwyn was our guide for the day. I have to say that having myself both worked in the outdoor industry overseas, as well as undertaken many guided activities, Gwyn’s professionalism, knowledge, humour and overall style was exceptional and second-to-none that I’ve experienced. This company is a hidden gem within Hawkes Bay. If you’re on the fence about booking an activity with Mohaka Rafting, do it - you won’t regret it!
Had an amazing experience today with the team at Mohaka rafting. Lots of silly jokes from professional and knowledgeable instructors. The Rapids are very fun and I felt very safe and well communicated the whole trip. Thank you very much Norm and team you live in an amazing area of New Zealand!!!
