Quite a nice open area in front of the soundshell. It connects to the seaside walkway as well as the garden which leads to the Napier War Memorial building. There were food trucks inside at one point when they had Moana screening at the soundshell.

Very interesting place to walk about as you take on the scenery and look at the fountain. We'll worth a visit if you are in Napier.
