Very well presented showing a very detailed picture of life in the late 1800s early 1900s. Amazing rosegarden well kept.worthwhile visit . Just 5 if not a nelson resident.

Didn't go inside the house but had a lovely walk around the gardens. Lots of heritage trees from 1890 and beautiful rose gardens

A trip back into history! The volunteer guide was super friendly and told us many background stories. The displays in the rooms make the history of this unique heritage house come alive.

Highly suggest a tour inside the house, true blast from the past. Rose garden is lovely too!

Bev the tour guide was lovely and it was really interesting to see the house and to hear all about the history of it. Apparently you are allowed to even have picnics in their lovely rose garden. Definitely worth a visit.
