Only a few years ago I used to shop here every week, would walk in with coins and leave with bags of stuff I really needed and couldn't afford elsewhere. This opshop use to be my savior in times where I didn't have much. These days you walk in with coins you *might* find the odd piece you can afford, that you probably could buy new for a very similar price. I've seen a cheap plastic watering can that looked 10 years old for more than what they sold for in the bunnings, and the ones at bunnings are far bigger. A old toy with no real value the size of my palm for 10. Old couches you'd find on buy n sell for 30 trying to sell for 800. I am shocked with these prices and will not be donating or purchasing anything. This store is no longer for those of us with low income, we are left with no where to shop. The customers these days are older cashed up people you'd find in antique stores. Very disappointed

Use to be an awesome place to shop, still is to a point but now it's more like a retail store . Most of the good stuff that use to turn up is now put on trade me or held for people who will pay good money for it. When new manager took over prices rose by over 1000% over night, don't get me wrong the hospice is a very worthy cause and costs millions a year to run but now struggling families and those who don't have a lot of money can't really afford to shop there anymore or get less for what they can get. The only reason I give 2 stars is you do now and then still get a bargain.

The hospice shop is losing site of its original premise - to be a charity shop for people who are on a low income, who go there to buy stuff they need and give a bit for charity at the same time and for people with a bit of disposable income to buy odd bits and pieces for a good cause. I’ve gone there many a time looking for bargains only to find myself demoralised by unrealistic boutique prices. I’m sure many other people who go there come out empty handed because the shop has over inflated prices. People are able to buy stuff new for the same or less than the hospice shop - hospice is pricing itself out of the op shop market. I am a long term supporter of the hospice shop but feel it’s more boho chic than bargain these days

A very "tight cramp shop" where the rows get jammed with people and woman with big pushchairs that are expecting to have the right of way. There is too much squeezed into the place. A good place to find retro items but be prepared to fork out top dollar for whatever you choose. The general opinion from shoppers is that its too expensive since the new manager took over. Bric-a-brac items just sit unsold for months on end because the prices are too high. (Considering "everything" in the shop is donated)

Op shop. Good place for cheap second hand clothes, kitchen stuff and furniture.
