Great place to have fun

Xmas work party. Very conveniently placed with the building attached to the parking lot (4.50 only). Lanes kept breaking down but the engineer was attentive (probably knew the condition of the lanes). Beer and soft drinks available. Old selection of gaming machines and plenty of pool tables. Just needs to be given a monster makeover.

Everything at this bowling alley is exceptional, it begins in the lift, this exhilarating ride transports you from rather up-tight Newmarket, to a world of 1980s charm. The Christmas decorations, that bring cheer all year round, the motivational sounds of eye of the tiger, that constantly play really help you keep your head in the game. Woodstock’s are available at the bar, the pool cheap, you can gaze at some sexy back drops as you play. Not the mention the amazing mural that hangs by the lanes, when I’m at Newmarket bowling with my friends, I feel like I’m flying over the sky tower. The only thing that is slightly disappointing about this magical place, is that my sweet kitchen is never open, and the only time it was open, the bowling alley was too busy to bowl (it must be a tribute to their yummy creations) I hope it’s open next time as I really want to try the Samosa, fish bite and hot chips platter. It’s a strike from me!

This place is as casual as you can get for bowling. It does have lots of arcade machines near the bowling alley to keep you entertained, as well as plenty of pool tables. Parking locally is expensive. Everything is at least 15years old... -The lift is one of the dodgiest I've been in. -The sink (see attached picture) in the men's room is pretty grim.

Probably the worst place to go bowling in Auckland, so run down and the staff are pretty useless.

Nice place! I went there with my youth group as one of the leaders, and we had a great time! There's lots here other than bowling too, there's an arcade and some pool tables so it's got some nice variety. Some of the lanes we were on stopped working but they were fixed really quickly by the staff. Also, they filled up our water bottles for free :) it's a great place for some fun with friends.
