"Buyers Beware" Don't try to swindle a seasoned traveller Omaha Beach Superette! Fortunately this doesn't usually happen in NZ because most people are honest here. I just experienced a well known technique to rob purchasers (usually tourists) at this store. I selected a small roll of sticky tape - there were two different types (both brands unknown) - the price on the box was 2.30. I took it up to the guy on the till who plugged in 3.99. I told him it was 2.30 he goes to area (I follow him) he said "that brand is 3.99" and proceeds to remove the brand from the box" I say "so where is this brand on the shelf" holding up the tape. Surprise surprise - its not there. So he says "On this occasion I'll give it to you for the other price". My answer - "Yes you will!"

Queues of 20 people inside and one person on till. Children waiting for ice cream outside and no one comes to serve them. More staff needed.
