Amazing camp site. Clean, free range sheep and ducks, clean running water, modern toilets, picnic areas and good walking tracks that cater for all ages. We brought our stroller and could do the lake track and the glow wprm track.

A great place to visit for a couple of hours. Especially if you enjoy a walk through trees. Lots of paths to choose from.
Beautifully isolated, silent night and woke to Birdsong. Staff at the information lodge very helpful. Truly a hidden gem, quite literally. You'll understand what I mean if you visit..
What a beautiful park and camping area! Hot showers are amazing! Adjacent to the waterfall/glowworm track for easy access for nighttime viewing. Definitely check out the glowworms - has the longest stretch we've seen so far.
We're there for glow worms, followed the waterfall track and then glow worms track. Glow worms were all around you when it gets dark right after sunset. And sky full of stars when you look up. Great experience and scenic lake view.
Great fun! Good way to spend a few hours in the sunshine! If you're starting out the 9-basket course is great and family friendly. Maybe Google the rules before you start but it's all fairly simple. Can hire a disc at the cafe for 5 bucks plus 15 dollar bond. Great sport to get into! The course itself is beautiful and offers lovely views. Great excuse for a nice walk in the park.
A lovely place. Very open, lots of tracks and places to explore nature.
Perfect location close to McLaren Falls and a local glowworm cave. Hot showers, clean toilets, BBQ, heaps of space. Calm and friendly sheep roam the area. 10NZ per person.
