After 40 years of driving past, we finally visited and it was well worth the visit. The staff were amazing! Super friendly and extremely informative. It's not a park to rush through though. Take your time to find everything in each enclosure! It's like a treasure hunt! So great to get up close to the tuatara. And the kiwi didn't disappoint either. We got fantastic photos too.

We had a really good time. After getting our tickets, we observed many informative posters on Kiwis and a live cam on the one inside the Nocturnal House. We saw our first one and only Kiwi! We also saw our first Kaka pair and a Karearea pair too which was impressive! The children loved the eel feeding at 2:30pm! We enjoyed the variety of birds and reptile viewing, all close together in one space with so many native animals. So grateful when I found out that my purse had been handed in at the office/shop and Louise, who sold us our tickets, recognised my pic from my license, and came to find me to return it to me! Thank you Otorohanga Kiwi House.

Awesome place. Loved seeing the Tuatara up close in the aviary.

An interesting bird and lizard park on reasonably extensive grounds, with future development underway. We were fortunate to see one kiwi up close (.5m through glass). Not every enclosure identified what we were looking at/for and in many we couldn't find an occupant. Visitors enjoyed feeding the eels. Host and staff are very friendly, helpful and informative. Allow at least a couple of hours to see this attraction...

Absolutely lovely staff, knowledgeable and super friendly. It was a hot day so we didn't see many of the native birds and reptiles - which was totally understandable. We did get to see a kiwi in the night enclosure which capped off a great visit

What a wonderful place to visit. Spotlessly clean and beautiful settings. Spotted a kiwi and loved seeing all the birds and animals. Great place to visit!

A great way to be able to view these beautiful creatures. I am aware that most have been rescued and repaired, but would be lovely to see them in the wild.

Was a nice little stop, unfortunately it was raining to not many animals out and about but still managed to see a big kiwi
