Awesome service, quick, consistent with the quality of their food. Just as good as they were 20 years ago. Highly recommend. Brilliant view included.

Recently made my first visit to this place, having passed it often. In future I'll be happy to keep passing. If you like fried food, this is the place for you. Everything is fried or deep fried and is mostly swimming in oil. Thankfully the salad bar was operational, and salad is very hard to fry. Service was slow and inconsistent. Yes it was busy, but that's not my problem!
Its been awhile since I was here last due to covid, but when I went with a group on Saturday night 10th of April for my birthday it was really good as it normally is. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food was very nice as it normally is. This is a great value for money restaurant. We are so fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant here on the Kapiti Coast. It is highly recommended to come for a meal if you have not already done so.
Amazing Staff, went in for my anniversary dinner. Was quite busy due to rush hour timing but managed to be seated and served entrees within 15mins. The seafood dishes tastes amazing, the steak cooked superb (med rare) but lacked a little bit of seasoning which the sauce helped recover. Main issue is parking, or the lack of spaces available. Hope to see increased development. Overall, would dine again.
Level 2 visit so table service (very good) and no self serve salad bar. Bit wet so couldn't sit outside but had window seat to look at great Kapiti views. Good car parking but could fill quickly if busy. Overall very pleasant.
This was a great place to visit. A retro 70's menu, fantastic fresh fish and a million dollar view over the ocean. Very affordable will be back again.
I thought the people in there were nice. the service was fast. except for young women spilling coffee . the coffee was cold. but this wasn't the problem. the problem was the fish was below average. the food was average. I hadn't been there for ages 25 years. I was looking forward to it. it was a total let down. but only the food!the people were good.
A great place with fantastic views of the sea and excellent service. Sitting by the sea outside on a hot day with blue sky assunder eating fish and chips. Perfect no other words
