Cute little theatre run by an amazing crew of volunteers, great prices and something for everyone to watch.

Nice and roomy
It was a wonderful experience watching a movie in a cinema hall which belongs to an era of its own. I loved d arrangement of d seats and lights n sounds were also amazing. Further, it had great staff who loves to explain and guide in a correct way, just a kindhearted man. Amazed by their hospitality and affordable price compared to multiplex. They do offer popcorn and other snacks. You can buy tickets with cash only so if u ever plan take cash with you.
Nice little theater. Looks after pensioners
Wrap up warm if going in winter.
Awsome not grossly expensive like hoyts etc
Just like the old cinemas of my childhood, this place brings it all flooding back. Built in the early days of WWII to replace the old Town Hall that had been razed in a fire, the Regent has been bringing the latest and greatest films to Pahiatua for nearly 80 years. Her charm is definitely on the decrepit side currently, but the overwhelming nostalgia you feel on entering the foyer more than makes up for it. The building itself deserves a revamp, but hopefully the team of community volunteers who run and care for it will be able to fundraise for a new ceiling soon! A beautiful old place that is a jewel in Pahiatua's crown, support your local theatres, we're so lucky to still have them!
This is a wonderful asset to the local community with a live theater performing top quality world class shows and well appointed cinema showing a wide variety of shows both new and nostalgic
