Rodney the store tabby cat for the last 10 years at ITM Central Marton was taken by the Marton store manager and dumped 15kms away in winter. Basically a death sentence for an elderly cat. Absolutely shockingly cruel behavior. Currently the store manager has 'only' been stood down, and not fired or charged with animal abuse yet. ITM National Marketing Manager Juliana Raven has also come out with comments minimising the animal cruelty actions and suggesting that this should all have been hushed up and the outcry over the treatment of the cat has escalated more than necessary. With senior national management having that type of attitude I don't expect the store manager will be stood down for very long or have any real action taken. Think twice about supporting ITM nationwide if their managers have this type of attitude about animal cruelty.
