Nice testing course, in good condition, and reasonable value for money - I'd recommend a round for sure

Terrible experience from beginning to the end. We brought 4 electric bikes used for golf, and told we couldn't use them. (which we were fine with) but wasn't fine being told it was our fault because we didn't check in advance. We booked as a group of 12, maybe the course manager could have sent out some info to our group would have helped. Then half way round the golf cart we had we were also told we weren't allowed this by the owner and had to take it away immediately. Again our fault for not asking. We said that's fine all of us will go, but thankfully the owner changed his mind and did a one off favour letting us finish with it. Also the course was terrible, fair ways sparse and greens horrible. At the very end again spoke to the lady in the pro shop who again said we should have checked with some one called Richard about brining own vehicles. I said if we knew we would have probably gone else where, she said that would have been a good idea? Wow what a terrible experience. Course has so much potential so very disappointing.

The Fish

Not a very good experience at all. Were in our annual golf tournament. Course was in terrible condition. Greens were horribly maintained, fairways were muddy and full of patchy grass.We arrived with 4 custom built golf scooters from Storm Rides NZ which are accepted at golf courses all over the country, to be told we weren't allowed these on the course even if we stuck to the cart paths. Ridiculous. Will not be coming back here.

Looked like a nice Resort style golf course when driving in. Pros shop was very nice. I had been interested in playing here for a few years so when the opportunity arose I jumped at it. The photos on their website show a well groomed challenging golf course. Unfortunately the reality is somewhat different. The course in general was in very poor condition and the greens were in terrible shape. Should really call them browns as some were more dirt than grass. Too say it was disappointing would be a gross understatement. I think our 4 were the only golfers on the course. It wasn't hard to see why!
