Would have been 5 stars except for the sand flies. Beautifully sculpted loop track well worth the walk and heaps of other walks. Just dont sit in the same place to long.

Well worth the visit for the solitude, bush walks, views of north canterbury. Well maintained D.o C. campsite, dog friendly.

Lovely flush toilets and you must take out all your rubbish. Respect given for in return beautiful bid songs and bush walks, which are clearly marked, wear good gripping shoes for the walks as some due to just nature's ways are slippery when wet, have fun it's all here for those who appreciate nature. Thank you to DOC for upkeep of tracks
Fantastic spot bit gave a low rating as had some bad company on our last night and DOCs response was less than empathetic
Silent with only the sound of the stream, birds and insects. Beautiful clear stream, nice walks. Recent work on Wooded Gully track is inpressive. Camp is just a big open area, basic flush toilets. Camp fees go in the box by the toilets.
