Perfect getaway. Really charming old house located above lake Pukaki with a breathtaking view on the lake. There are two houses next to each other, we stayed in the first and probably larger one. The house is wooden, so it makes some noise at night, which is only the wood - there is no one else there ;) Kitchen is a bit old but has everything u need. Living room is just amazing!!! There is no Wifi - just so you know. The house access to a beach at the lake about 8 min by foot. Can highly recommend to stay there!

Fantastic views over Lake Pukaki and MT Cook. Kōwhai is all over the place when we stay on November. Super nice owner. There is a kayak and I am really enjoy it as well.

Very spacious cottage with fully equipped kitchen and super nice owner. Stunning views over Lake Pukaki in a absolutely peaceful remote location. Perfect place to recover and to ground yourself :-)
