I originally got quoted by GWD a 2.3k quote to change my drive shaft which had blown CV joints. I had asked them if there was any cheaper way to do the job. They told me no, I went to talk to Queenstown Auto Services who was recommended to me by Hire Pool.. He quoted the exact same job for 750 using an aftermarket part. When I told GWD they told me it wouldnt fit my vehicle but Marc at Queenstown Auto Services was confident and talked me through everything so I knew what was happening, I moved my vehicle to his garage where he fitted the part (which fitted perfectly) as soon as he could. The whole way through the process, I trusted he was doing everything at my best interest and was being honest, which sadly I couldn't say the same for GWD. I felt really uncomfortable taking my truck from them and there was a lot of unfriendly, passive aggressive, condescending behaviour from some of the staff. I wouldn't recommend this garage.
