Fun, heaps of people swimming and surf life savers were out on their boat practicing. Nice place to relax by the sea. Six whaka further out was impressive to see

New Plymouth rec spots are really good. I've visited for many years and the ocean front walkway is world class. The skate spot is pretty good and they still have the old half pipe which is a rarity!

Good for dog walks, good parking and coffee/food kiosk. Plenty of rubbish bins and doggie bag stations. Beautiful sea views...

After getting our lunch from Snapper fish & chips, we stopped here to have our lunch. Reason for 3 stars not alot of seating & tables also parking availability is at a premium, pretty much have to wait fir a park hence the built-up of traffic just too get to the reserve
