Doctors are fantastic but there is one receptionist who seriously needs an attitude adjustment. She has absolutely no people skills . She is abrupt and the expression on her face says it all . She is just down right rude . I've complained about her a few years ago but nothing has changed. Looking at other people's comments I'm not the only one

THE WORST RECEPTIONIST IN CHRISTCHURCH! We have been registered here for couple of years, the receptionist's attitude is always awful. According to the previous comments, the manager does not want to solve the problem and still thinks the receptionists are doing perfect job even though they have so many negative comments.

Asking simple questions politely bit of a hassel. Expect 45 min delays. I agree with everyone else here the reception attitude is absolutely poor and shocking. We come to our drs unwell and seeking help not to be judged and frowned on upon for our situation. I do have to agree with everyone else here I've been coming to the same place for years, I think only now that I'm older I've realised it's actually not normal for receptionists to be rude and condescending in nature. I've once forgotten to let them know I had arrived and felt scolded like in school? I'm sorry I made one mistake while I was unwell it is not the end of the world it's such a first world problem. I always thought well that's how they are here. Go to the dentists round the corner and see how their receptionists are. The nicest human beings you will ever come across. It's such a pity that they have such great Doctors, however to get to see them you have to go through such unfortunate reception staff as the first point of contact. Further solidifying this is the numerous one star ratings on here showing that I am not alone in feeling this way. You should all be working as a team, If you don't like your role or dealing with customers then maybe a career change might be for you? You should never feel like you're in a working environment you're not happy in. However a 5 stars for the ladies who saw me at my car. They were kind and understood how I was feeling and were excellent! Please pass that onto them.

Called reception today and recieved an unhelpful and terse response. Unfriendly from the second I asked how her day was going. I enquired about getting a covid test done for travel requirements. She asked for my details and if I had been to the practice before, to which I gave them to her and she then told me that I have never visited the practice before. I told her she was wrong. ( I have been visiting since I was a toddler up until my early twenties). I advised her that I would have also been removed from their current register as I have been living overseas for quite some time yet besides the point I should still have been on the books and I visited as a casual only 2 weeks ago! But to tell me that I have never visited before was incorrect and condescending. Furthermore, she then told me that the practice doesn't do Covid19 travel tests, yet when I visited 2 weeks prior the doctor specifically told me that they can do it for me. Reception told me I was wrong yet again, however I'm only telling her what I was told. She then changed her mind and all of sudden after being on hold for a minute or two the practice now does these tests. I left it at that and will get my test done elsewhere. Nor will i re register with the practice again. I will not mention a name but I can see from previous reviews others have had similar experiences here.

I have been coming here for years and the doctors are always fantastic however I find the reception can be quite rude and will speak over top of you when they see fit I work in customer service and this is not how you maintain a happy customer base.
