Conveniently close but inconveniently awful! Where do I begin, extremely rude reception staff, while I was asking questions she kept trying to hang up. Not only that, she gave me unsolicited advice to something that is clearly not her place to comment on. The receptionists asks you why you're making an appointment to see the doctor and saying that it's private wasn't sufficient enough or they get increasingly rude. It seems like they want to see you every three months in order for them cash in their 'subscription' from their patients to get a routine prescription. They've got strange 'policies' to make it seem valid. I asked to get a referral in order to get a second opinion regarding a possible surgery, in which the GP was too scared and had to consult another GP in order to avoid 'muddying the waters'. Finally leaving Rolleston Central Health has been a weight off my shoulders. Calling other centres have been refreshingly lovely as all the other receptionists I've spoken to in other centres have been wonderful and had time to answer my questions. I would avoid this place at all costs, and travel outside of Rolleston to see a medical centre that puts their patients first.

The Receptionist who answered the phone call was very rude and never listen when l have questions and uncertain on what she had mentioned about. She told me to shut up. This is the worst morning call i get and would you be pleased if someone told you to shut up when you are trying to ask for questions? That is REAL joke. I would highly suggest the clinic to upgrade their customer service skills to be more polite and nice to people especially to their registered patients.

I went to see a G. P in acute clinic in Rolleston Central Health due to kidney stone pain. After I waited outside reception a while, a nurse came and told me to go and see a doctor at Riccarton clinic since their acute clinic is fully booked. I didn't find very helpful at all since I entrolled at this medical centre. The same with my baby and wife, we end up going to Riccarton clinic for all acute and non-acute things. I won't recommend this place to anyone

Very Rude reception staff - Poorly ran practice The service that this practice delivers is below 1 star, but putting one because I have no choice. I will advise anyone considering a new medical practice to stir away from this one and seek an alternative option. They change doctors like a pair of socks, every time we visit there is a new doctor to whom we need to explain our entire history again. the tipping point for us was the rude (very rude) unfriendly reception staff (or whoever is that picks up the phone). I cant believe how people that communicate like that chose to work at a place where they need to deal with people (people that most likely have health concerns). We are moving to another center.

My baby boy had a fever yesterday afternoon, called in to speak to a nurse, as it is our first baby and first time dealing with a fever we weren't too sure when to worry and take him in. A nurse named Glynnis (hope I'm spelling that right) gave me so much helpful info on the phone. Gave me a few things to do etc. Just after 18:00 I received a call from the same nurse, checking in on us to see how our boy was doing. She is an absolute gem!! Not the first time that I have gotten Glynnis on the phone when I call in and she has been so kind and helpful every time.
