Great family outing for the day. Catch the ferry over from Auckland, or take your own boat. Beautiful beaches to explore. Amazing bird wildlife to see. The exhibition centre is a great little spot to see the history of the island and it has a little shop with ice blocks. Don't forget to pay your landing fee to help the trust keep the island open and maintained for everyone to enjoy.
